So how to choose and match the floor of table tennis with sponge rubber
Choosing sponge and rubber is the same as choosing base plate. First of all, we should play according to our own technology. In table tennis, the fast attack and arc attack technology, which combines speed and rotation, has become the mainstream at present. This is because using backglue sponge racket to hit the ball can not only get the rhythm speed needed for near-stage fast attack, but also get a faster flight speed when hitting the ball vigorously. Because of the high friction coefficient of backglue, it has a strong upward spin when attacking the ball, and has obvious upward spin. Fast forward, so in the attack near the platform and even in the middle platform, the reverse rubber sponge racket can easily get more winning factors. When choosing and matching the reverse rubber sponge racket, we should consider comprehensively the viscous characteristics of the reverse rubber surface, the thickness and hardness of the sponge, the thickness, weight and performance of the bottom plate, etc. according to the individual situation.
In order to ensure the strength of near-stage attack, offensive athletes, who mainly take fast-break and smash, usually choose seven-layer floor with slightly heavier weight (more than 90g) and thicker plate (more than 6.5mm). However, for the attackers on both sides of the straight board, the weight of the backboard is relatively lighter because the backside is covered with sponge rubber. If the speed of attack is considered, the backglue with medium surface viscosity and short particles is usually chosen; if the ball is controlled, the sponge with medium thickness (1.8-2.Omm) and moderate hardness (40-44 degrees) can be selected to match it. In order to ensure the flexibility, rapidity and good control of continuous batting, the attacking athletes, who are mainly attacked by arc attack and vigorous pumping, usually choose the five-floor with lighter weight (less than 90 g), thin (horizontal) or thick (straight) and better elasticity. Focus on rotation, usually choose a better surface viscosity, slightly longer particles of the reverse glue; focus on speed, can choose a thicker (2.1-2.2mm) and harder (45-48 degrees) sponge to match with it.
Because of the requirement of comprehensive mastery of skills and ability to attack and defend, the athletes usually choose lighter weight (less than 90g), bigger board, deeper ball-eating, but with a certain elasticity of the floor. If we pay attention to the change of rotation, we usually choose the reverse glue with better surface stickiness and slightly longer particles. In order to ensure the good control of pelletizing, we often choose a sponge with moderate thickness (1.5-2.Omm) and soft and hard (about 40 degrees) to match it. In order to strengthen the change, many peelers use reverse glue on one side and long glue, positive glue or raw glue on the other side. These particles usually choose a very thin sponge (less than 1.0 mm) to match with the outer rubber. Others use reverse glue on one side and arc-proof glue on the other side (a kind of non-sticky surface, poor elasticity of the reverse glue). In order to further reduce the reverse elasticity, they usually choose a sponge with a thickness of 1.5-2.Omm and a very soft performance.
Many near-range fast-breakers use positive or raw glue. Due to the low friction coefficient of the positive and raw rubber surfaces, in order to maintain good control of the ball while attacking quickly, athletes usually choose a baseboard with good ball feeling, moderate elasticity and thicker plate (more than 6.5mm), which needs a slightly thicker sponge (2.1-2.2mm) to improve speed. In order to improve the control ability, we should choose a slightly thinner sponge (1.8-2.0m).
